Instead of a straightforward portrait, I can place different images in one setting—or place people in another setting. The vision is the client’s, and the sky is the limit.
Jose Rivera wanted a large painting to adorn his new home, in his own whimsical style. He asked for an old-fashioned daguerreotype pose of him and his new bride, Paula. I made sure to include her family pearls. Jose: “I laughed out loud with pleasure when I saw the painting. Carol got our likeness exactly!” Paula: “The details and colors are so beautiful. I love it more each day."

Sara G. loved working for her boss. To show her appreciation, she secretly got some photos of his two daughters at different ages from his wife and asked me to do a black and white portrait of each daughter at their present age “shadowed” by an earlier image. “My boss just got the biggest smile on his face when I gave him this at our Christmas Party. Now he has it framed behind his desk.”
