The grandchildren chipped in for this 50th anniversary gift! I was inspired by how the couple'sg ood looks, and love, had lasted into maturity—and expressed this by flowing the folds of her wedding gown into the future, knitting the two images together with romantic detail. I used gold paint for lettering the “Happy 50TH.”

Diane Buondonno's father was retiring. For the big present at his party, she wanted to present him with something that would honor his success in two consecutive careers (detective and Teamsters executive). Together we chose which images would best serve this purpose, including old newspaper clippings and a Teamster logo! The last touch was to tie the images together with ribbons that spelled out Mr.B's outstanding qualities. He was thrilled!
